The past few months have marked a pivotal period as ProcessMaker and Decisions united into one organization. During this integration, we’ve continued identifying strategic growth opportunities that build on our expanded, combined capabilities. One clear opportunity is in the SAP market, where our solutions already add value, especially in simplifying large-scale data migration and management. That’s why I’m pleased to share that Decisions + ProcessMaker has acquired Configurable Management, a company specializing in safe, efficient SAP data migration for nearly twenty years.
Why Configurable Management
For two decades, Configurable Management has tackled one of SAP’s toughest challenges: securely moving and validating data during periods of change. Their tools manage high-volume uploads, full validation, and coordinated execution across migrations, cutovers, and major SAP initiatives—all without fragile scripts or manual workarounds. Just as important is how these capabilities are delivered. The solutions connect to SAP environments in minutes with no installation inside SAP. They run within existing authorization profiles, letting teams govern and automate data movement without altering the SAP core or adding operational risk. These are proven, production-ready tools built for the moments when SAP teams face their greatest pressure, and they solve problems many organizations still handle manually.
Built on Decisions, Now Part of the Platform
Configurable Management built its SAP solutions on the Decisions platform starting in 2017, based on the shared belief that automation should reduce complexity, not add to it. Bringing Configurable Management fully into Decisions + ProcessMaker transforms those capabilities from standalone solutions into part of a cohesive platform. Customers gain a clear long-term roadmap and confidence that the tools they rely on will continue to evolve within a unified automation and orchestration strategy.
Extending SAP Beyond Data Migration
Managing data migration is only the beginning. Many organizations still struggle with rapidly changing business rules, exception handling, and coordination across systems—areas SAP was never designed to manage efficiently. With Decisions + ProcessMaker, these challenges can be solved without custom code. Business rules can be managed centrally, processes orchestrated across SAP and non-SAP systems, and exceptions handled consistently. SAP remains the system of record, but the platform around it becomes more agile and easier to manage.
